Insisting that the authorities revoke his preventive custody bail and release him from jail, former PRD senator Tony Rutinel remained behind bars over the Christmas and New Year's holidays. His relatives paid his bail bond, but he refused to sign contracts No. 109001 of Seguros Pepin and 029261 of Seguros Dhiacla. National District Prosecutor Yeni Berenice Reynoso said that he would have to remain in jail until he signs the contracts. Rutinel was arrested for violence towards a former girlfriend.
