Two women who swindled men after inviting them to their cabanas were arrested by the National Police, after a complaint by one man who was conned out of RD$25,000. According to the police report, Luisa Isabel Andujar, 20, and Josefina Perez Matos were captured after it was proven that they had cheated trader Guillermo Herrera, 48, out of RD$25,000. The National Police regional commander for the east said that the man had told the investigators that while he was occupied in the Citral Cabanas, the women took the money. He said that before this, they had shared drinks at the bar known as La Herradura (the Horseshoe).
