A newcomer to the international competition circuit, she only became known as a competitor to watch in 2010. Her coach is Francisco Susana Sanchez.

She received the special invitation after being the first girl to perform a 7.2 SV for a long while, only to fall at the end, and end with a zero score. Her first vault had a Difficulty Score of 5.300 and an Execution Score of 8.600, for a total of 13.900.

Her second vault had a Difficulty Score of 7.100 but, unfortunately, she landed on her back and scored a 0.000. Her combined Vault Score was 6.950 to finish eighth.
