Tu Cantu Restaurant (hope I got the name right) is right on Duarte just a couple minute walk from the Boat House. Ate there 3 times during my short stay. Twice for breakfast and once for dinner with Yayow. BEST breakfast I had in my month long stay in the D.R. Many options, fair pricing, large portions, FAST service and you can't beat the location for that hungry monger inside all of us. Most all of the breakfast offers were 200 pesos or less (not sure if any were more than 200 pesos). Will definitely eat there again.

It's Toucano Restaurant, good for breakfast and lunch. Tropico Paradise, just to the left when leaving the Boat House is good for dinner. Any El Caucho old timers, it's Dani's new business venture and doing very well.
