The National District and four provinces are home to almost half of the nation's voters. According to the preliminary voting list provided by the Central Electoral Board (JCE), the vote is concentrated in the National District and the provinces of Santo Domingo, Santiago, San Cristobal and La Vega. The greatest percentage of voters is in the Province of Santo Domingo with 1,326,814 voters or 20.4%, the National District with 831,630 voters or 12.78% for 33.18% in Santo Domingo. Santiago follows with 728,544 voters for 11.20. Next is La Vega, with 298,260 voters, or 5.59%.
