The novia, Ace1 and I are going to take this hike on Sunday, 7/3. She's a member of the Cibao Ecological Society, the group of naturalists who's goal is the clean-up and preservation of the environment and ecology of the valley. She went to Rio Damajagua a couple of months ago with the Society group, and came back gushing about it's fun, adventure, and beauty.

Feel free to come along. It's near POP on the road to Santiago, sorta hidden from view unless you know what you're looking for.

How far is this from Field of Dreams? Looking at the pictures this might be great for the family.

How far is this from Field of Dreams? Looking at the pictures this might be great for the family.It's a little outside POP-several kilometers-on the road to Santiago. Not that far at all, from what I remember. You can hardly notice where to turn off the road unless you're looking for it.

I'm looking forward to it.

Wow, looks like a great trip, and so close to Sosua! Looking forward to your report! And your novia, being part of an ecological society, certainly does not seem your average street whore - certain people take notice

Just not in the sex tourist areas...

I can vouch for RD's wifee... She is definitely not a W*ore.... She wouldnt go with me for 1000 st... Just kiddin... She is cool peeps!

That was what i was trying to say, contrary to certain people who think all domincanas are uneducated hoes. it was meant as a compliment, but i see it came out twisted...

He says she is 40 but looks 30 and he is nearly an old man that came out of retirement and lets not talk about his adopted son now. :D

I am concerned about her bad taste in men, however...

Jimmy I think your understanding of Spanish is OK.

Remember when that "guard" was trying to get some extra pesos out of

you. You understood everything I said to him in Spanish.
