The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) announced yesterday that the 27 February tunnel in Santo Domingo would be closed overnight, Friday 10 and Saturday 11 February from 9pm to 6am, for repairs and maintenance of the lighting system which will be carried out by EDESUR and Public Works.
They Ministry said it would be replacing lights that are not working and apologized for any inconvenience to drivers.
