The Navy announced on Saturday February 11 that together with the US Coastguard they had captured 22 people at sea en route to Puerto Rico, a day after the ending of rescue operation of the victims of the shipwreck in Samana Bay that left 52 people dead.
Those detained, all in a stable condition, 18 men and 4 women were taken to La Romana where they are being questioned.
