In the morning of Sunday February 12 in Santo Domingo North, the police arrested a private security guard, Gerardo Antonio Rosario Vasquez, who had shot at three men and a woman during an argument at a gasoline station, reports El Caribe.
Those injured were Alfredo Antonio Sosa, 38, Miguel Antonio Sosa, also 38, Alberto Martinez Morillo, 37, and Lurden Castillo Mieses, a 31-year old female.
The security guard claimed that the incident began at 3am at the Shell station on Avenida Hermanas Mirabal, when four people, three men and a woman came into the station on two motorcycles. They dismounted and one began to urinate next to the petrol pump. When the security guard commented on this, he was insulted and sworn at and so he shot at all of them.
