The National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) is forecasting that winds from the east/south east will bring weak to moderate rains this week, over the northeast, southeast and the Central mountain range. They also said that a front over eastern Cuba could also bring cloud and rain to the northeast and the border region.
Santo Domingo and the National District will be cloudy with occasional light rain. Conditions will be similar, although the rain may be heavier at times, in the provinces of Duarte (San Francisco de Macoris), Espaillat (Moca), Montecristi, Monsenor Nouel (Bonao), La Vega, Santiago, San Jose de Ocoa, Pedernales, Monte Plata, Hato Mayor and El Seibo.
