The Office of Permanent Attention in Santiago de los Caballeros imposed a RD$100,000 bail bond and travel restrictions for Noel de Jesus Perez Munoz, accused of stealing an electric meter installed in a house that was serviced by the Electricity Distributor of the North (EdeNorte). This bond and coercive measure was imposed on Perez Munoz after he was accused and arraigned on charges filed by the Deputy Prosecutor for the Electric System (PGASE) for stealing the meter in Navarrete. According to the case file, the defendant was caught with the meter in his possession and admitted that he had stolen it. As part of the coercive measures previous to trial, the defendant must appear periodically before the prosecutors.
