Does anybody know if the safes at Hotel D'piero are big enough to fit a laptop pc? as I don't own a Ipad

Someone said that they got rid of the lock boxes, and installed real safes.

Someone's postcount will be halved in future, then.

I suggest a laptop lock.

Some even come with an alarm, just in case somebody cuts the cable.

The safes a Piero are standard size electronic safes and i doubt a laptop computer fits in there.

Most of the safes are the same size, at all the hotels. They won't hold an average size laptop. It's best to get a lock, like dquick posted.

I can tell you that, some security guards will watch the chica walk out with a laptop. Maybe thinking that it was part of her pay.:rofl::rofl:

The week I stayed at D'Piero I left it on the kitchen counter for my entire stay ...

Nothing was messed with ... I even left out some small bait ... nothing was touched!

Housekeeping did a great job ... even did my laundry ... yes I tipped accordingly!

Good folks working at D'Piero ... only issue I've ever had with the hotel is the shill (here on ISOC) with boundary issues!

In answer to your question my laptop was too big for the safe.

In talking with Mikelodge, and a couple of other in the know guys, they all say that D'Piero's is a very safe place in regard to the staff there. Everybody has worked there for some time, and they all seem super nice and cool. Numerous guys have said they have left their laptops out in the room during their entire trip and had no problems . . .

Anyway, muchas gracias for the replies . . . .

Just 36 more days . .. .

This what the safes at D'Pieros were like as of May 2010. I don't think you'd be able to fit a laptop in one.

Lodge forgot to mention that Pieros now offers free palm readings to it's customers. Can't get service like that at any other hotel in Sosua. No sir!

Another safe pic (April 2011, apt A1): And no, a laptop will not fit in there.
