PLD national election manager Danilo Diaz held a press conference yesterday Tuesday February 21 in which he declared that recent statements by Radhames Gomez Sanchez, the director of online newspaper elsiglo21.com (http://elsiglo21.com), were lies which he could easily disprove.
He revealed that the IP address, 70.38 71.85, revealed by elsiglo21.com (http://elsiglo21.com) actually belonged to the PLD and not the company Novosit. He said that it had also been hacked several days ago and that the Attorney General's office was conducting a major investigation.
However he agreed with elsiglo21.com (http://elsiglo21.com) that the emails containing exchanges between First Lady Margarita Cedeno de Fernandez and Rosa Hernandez de Grullon, Dominican ambassador for UNESCO and wife of the president of Banco Popular had come from this address.
He said that this particular IP was used to register PLD supporters but the hacking had not affected the database.
