Yesterday Tuesday February 21, PRSC General Secretary Ramon Rogelio Genao announced that former Santiago mayor Enrique Sued had been expelled from the party for his opposition to the electoral alliance with the PLD.
He said that he would shortly be sending a note to Sued telling him that he no longer belonged to the party and that he should stop using its logo and colors, in particular, said Genao, Sued should not longer speak in its name.
Genao also warned that other party activists would be expelled if they do not adhere to the party line in support of the candidacies of Danilo Medina and Margarita Cedeno de Fernandez.
He described Sued as ungrateful, saying that during the 2010 elections, when the party was allied with the PLD, he, Genao, had to sacrifice ten other candidates to ensure that Sued could be put forward as candidate for mayor in Santiago, as reported in Hoy.
