Two shotguns were stolen from the police headquarters in Santiago earlier this week, reports El Nacional.
When the room used to store the weapons was checked on Tuesday morning, February 21, it was discovered that two were missing and there was a hole in the wall. Station commander General Francisco Romer Lopez has launched an investigation.
It is thought to be an inside job as the arms store from where the guns were stolen is in the main police building.
