Both residents and visitors in the tourist resort of Juan Dolio complained yesterday Thursday February 23 that they are victims of muggings and armed robbery at the hands of known criminals in the area, as reported in El Dia.
Local residents stated that the situation has become unbearable in the homes and apartment hotels along the Boulevard. Shootings have been reported in the Villas de Mar area as thieves attempt to enter private properties in order to commit theft.
On Tuesday, two thieves broke into an apartment building and started shooting in order to rob the residencies.
