The Transport Reorganization Office (OPRET) has announced that the Las Americas highway will be closed from 1 to 4 March between the Juan Carlos Bridge and the toll area.
OPRET executive director Diandino Pena said that the highway's temporary closure would allow work to begin on the elevated section where the Las Americas highway meets the Avenida Hipodromo V Centenario.
The highway will be closed from 11pm until 5am, with a diversion in place using Avenida Marginal Norte, as reported in Listin Diario.
