Spanish ceramics exhibition

Talavera de la Reina pottery from Toledo, Spain is on display at the Fortaleza Ozama museum in Santo Domingo's Colonial City. The famous blue and yellow tiles and ceramics are on view from 24 February through 24 April. A wide range of tableware and tiles are shown in the exhibit, "Talavera Ceramics: sensibility and aesthetics". The exhibition includes valuable pieces of the Alcazar and Museo de las Casas Reales collections. The event, which is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, takes place at both the Fortaleza de Santo Domingo (Fortaleza Ozama) and at the Museo Alcazar de Colon. Calle Las Damas, Colonial City.
