Political parties complied with the deadline for the formalizing of political alliances. The leading parties deposited their alliances with minority parties yesterday at the Central Electoral Board.
Hoy reports that the PRD says its allies will be the following political parties:
Dominican Humanist (PHD), Revolutionary Social Democratic (PRSD), Independent Democratic (PDI), Alternative Democratic Movement (Moda), National Veterans and Civilians (PNVC), Independent Revolutionary (PRI), Popular Democratic (PDP) and Dominican Social Alliance (ASD).
The PLD announced its alliances are with:
Social Christian Reformist (PRSC), Institutional Bloc (BIS), Democratic Quisqueyan (PQD), National Progressive Force (FNP), Dominican Workers (PRD), Dominican Republic Liberal (PLRD), Christian Democrat Union (UDC), Popular Democrat (PDP), National Unity (PUN), Christian Popular (PPC), Liberal Action (PAL), Civic Renewal (PCR), Green Socialist (Pasove) and Independent Revolutionary (PRI).
For the presidential candidacy and the overseas deputies, the PLD announced its allies are PTD, FNP, PLRD, BIS, PDP, PcR, PAL and PPC. With the PRSC, PUN, UDC, Pasove and PQDC it allied only at the presidential level.
