Jose Rincon Mora art exhibition

The Museum of Modern Art presents works by Dominican Jose Rincon Mora as of 7 March. The exhibit features over 100 works produced by the leading Dominican contemporary artist in Santo Domingo and in Germany. Rincon is known for his work as a painter and architect, and for his drawings, sculptures and stained glass art. The stained glass windows of the Cathedral of Santo Domingo are his creations. The exhibition is sponsored by the German Embassy and local companies. On Friday, 23 March at 7pm, a panel will discuss his work at the auditorium of the Museum of Modern Art. Panelists include art critics Amable Lopez Melendez and Laura Gil.
