View Full Version : Futuros Divorciados and their great shows at Casa de Teatro

Futuros Divorciados, the local pop-rock group that was nominated for Best Rock Group in the Casandra 2012 awards, announces it will be at the Casa de Teatro bar for a series of shows on Thursday 15, 22 and 29 March and on Wednesday 4 April. They announce there will be guest performers, too. The performances are free, courtesy of sponsorship by Cerveceria Nacional Dominicana (Presidente Beer). See Mario Alejandro (vocals), Jonathan Casado (guitar) and Loan Oviedo (drums) in a crossover of pop and ballads with acoustics. They are best known for their "Sera" song that was released last year. A variety in the music will be played n one day will be dedicated to the music of Spanish and Argentinean performers that influenced the band, from Serrat to Cerati, and another will be devoted to Latin American and Dominican rock. One night will be dedicated to British and American rock, and another to classics of merengue and bachata, said Jose Bordas, show producer. The guest performers joining the band include: Tony Almont (Toque Profundo), Pavel Nunez, Frank Ceara, Mariano Lantigua (Aljadaqui), Frank Grullon (Huellas Invisibles) and C Cordero (Colectivo De Comedia La Guagua).

Other future shows by the group will take place on Friday, 30 March at Dubai Club in Santiago and 28 April at the auditorium of the Colegio Babeque in Santo Domingo.
