Pool A of the FIVB Volleyball World League 2012 will be hosted in Santo Domingo from June 15 to 17. The leading annual men's volleyball tournament was originally going to be held at the new Havana Sports City Coliseum but it was not finished in time.
For the first time in the history of the event, which dates back to 1990, all four teams in each pool will be playing a host city on a weekend. Each country will take turns to host in their respective pools all four teams, and fans everywhere will be closely following the volleyball odds when this takes place.
In Santo Domingo, Cuba will now face defending champions Russia, Serbia and Japan n with the support of both NORCECA and the Volleyball Federation of Dominican Republic.
