Police spokesman General Maximo Baez Aybar has announced the arrest of 30-year old Julio Aquiles Martinez Arias (Bocho), the lead suspect of the murder of Claudio Francisco Caamano Velez, on Sunday at a colmadon in Pizarette, Peravia. Martinez was arrested in Santo Domingo East municipality and taken to the city of Bani for arraignment. Caamano Velez was murdered earlier this week, apparently by a bullet intended for someone else at the cornershop/bar.
