Hoy reports that the Ministry Of Public Health closed two beauty salons on Thursday, 15 March, both in the National District, for operating without the correct permits and for failing to comply with General Health Law 42-01 rule 1138-03.
The first salon to be closed was "Efecto Brush", which carries out non-invasive procedures and is located on Parabola Street, No 46 in Urbanizacion Fernandez, while the second is Dr. Papi Fernandez Clinic, on Pedro Livio Cedeno No 39, in the Villa Juana area.
In both centers a large amount of furnishings were confiscated together with surgical instruments and medications.
The authorities said that both centers were operating without the required licenses issued by the Health Ministry, thus posing a public health risk.
