The highly charged task of printing the voter registration rolls for the upcoming presidential elections began yesterday Monday, 26 March by the Central Electoral Board (JCE). The process, which was launched in the presence of observers and specialists from the Organization of American States (OAS), will take 72 hours to complete. The JCE will have over 200 employees supervising the process. At one point, the PRD was opposed to the beginning of the printing process, and wanted the OAS to finish their audit of the voter lists. However the Plenary of the JCE decided to go forward and resolve any issues on the move.
