Three alleged criminals broke in to Call Center Hosc Caribbean Communications Services yesterday, Monday, 26 March and took three laptops, an LCD television set and a filing cabinet with information on the PRD. The Call Center belongs to PRD presidential candidate Hipolito Mejia. The National Police reported that they have already recovered two laptops and the television set, but have still not arrested anyone in connection with the case. The spokesman for the PRD, Hector Guzman, told Diario Libre that they found a note inside the office, presumably left by the thieves, which said: "We will kill you all."

Hipolito Mejia's call center operated in the Plaza Merengue, located at the intersection of 27 de Febrero and Tiradentes. The place does not have its own security, although it is protected by plaza security guards. The robbery occurred at around 5:30 in the early morning, and according to information from the authorities, the thieves entered the place through a back window and left through the front door. First Lieutenant Rene Holly Lantigua said that he was passing by the place in his vehicle at the time of the robbery, and when he saw what was happening he intercepted three individuals with the equipment in their hands, but they escaped.
