View Full Version : Presidential candidates to discuss trade and investment positions

The Commonwealth Roundtable in the Dominican Republic has organized presentations by the candidates for the 20 May 2012 presidential election on their proposals and positions on foreign policy, trade, foreign investment and free trade. Leading business representatives in areas of exports, mining, electricity, tourism and free zones will also be taking part. The talks will take place at the auditorium of the UNIBE University on Av. Francia 129 in Santo Domingo.

The event is sponsored by the British Chamber of Commerce, the Dominican-French Chamber of Commerce, the Trinidad & Tobago Chamber of Commerce and the Indian Chamber of Commerce and the Society of Friends of South Africa in the Dominican Republic, with the backing of the Dominican Association of Exporters (Adoexpo), the Dominican Agribusiness Board (JAD) and the Dominican Association of Foreign Investment Companies (Asiex). The discussion will take place on Thursday, 29 March starting at 8:30am. There is no charge.
