The Youth Symphony Orchestra Foundation and the Ministry of Culture are sponsoring a concert by the National Youth Symphony Orchestra on Tuesday, 3 April at 8:30pm at the Fine Arts Palace (Palacio de Bellas Artes). The concert marks the 15th year of the youth orchestra with performers from all around the country directed by Maestro Darwin Aquino and Fernando Herrera. Aquino recently returned from a successful tour as guest conductor of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Mainz, Germany.
The concert program includes Symphony No. 5, Op. 64, E minor by Tchaikovsky and Symphonic Poem: Finlandia, Op. 26 by Sibelius. Free admission.
