PRD presidential candidate Hipolito Mejia has announced he will be in Miami and New York for campaign activities through Thursday. In addition to meeting with supporters, in New York he is scheduled to meet with former New York governor George Pataki.
The ruling PLD candidate Danilo Medina is booked for campaign activities in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Philadelphia over the Easter Week.
Easter Week is traditionally a time when candidates are asked to refrain from campaigning in the Dominican Republic.
