Bad start to the week: 5 dead in Neyba

The Easter Week recess began with the sad news that five people were killed and two seriously injured in an automobile accident in Neyba, in the southwest. The accident took place on the highway between Galvan and Cerro en Medio, yesterday, Monday, 2 April. The victims, all young people, died when the Infinity SUV they were traveling in went out of control and hit a motorcyclist and then fell into the Las Mariitas Swimming Area in Neyba. According to El Caribe, the names of the injured were not available. The authorities were not able to tell reporters where the young victims were from, but it was known that they were not from the area where the accident occurred.
