The British Embassy and the Ministry of Culture present an exhibition of large format photographs commemorating the upcoming July 2012 London Olympic Games at the open gallery of Parque Independencia in the Colonial City. The exhibition, "Towards the Olympic and Paralympic Games London 2012" is on display on the perimeter fence of the Santo Domingo park. It opened on Monday, 2 April and will continue throughout the month of April. The exhibition also has the support of the Dominican Olympic Committee and the local initiative Creating Olympic Dreams (Creso).
