Work is progressing in preparation for the Santo Domingo International Book Fair at the Plaza de la Cultura, scheduled for 18 April to 6 May.
2010 Nobel Prize for Literature laureate Mario Vargas Llosa's world touring exhibition will be on display at the Santo Domingo International Book Fair.
The Vargas Llosa exhibition, which has toured Lima, Stockholm, Paris, Mexico City, Bogota and Madrid, will be open at the Museum of Dominican Man in Santo Domingo through 19 April.
It features memorabilia and details of the work of the famous Peruvian writer and politician. His La Fiesta del Chivo (Feast of the Goat) book focused on Dominican dictator Rafael Leonidas Trujillo. Vargas is a frequent visitor to the Dominican Republic.
The exhibition curator is Ana Osorio, coordinator of exhibitions of the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru.
