A three-year old girl died last week after her time-pressed architect-father forgot her in the car when he went to work. The girl was sleeping in the car when her father took her to day school. News reports carried the tragic story of Juan Carlos Rodriguez who forgot his daughter Montserrat Rodriguez Arvelo in the car and she suffocated. As reported in Listin Diario, prosecutors consider this to be a case of serious negligence and will call for serious charges so the tragedy is turned into an example.
