The National Drug Control Department (DNCD) has announced the arrest of a member of the Ejercito de Tierra, the land forces of the Spanish army, who had taped what is presumed to be cocaine to her calves. Angela Maria Baio Caldera was arrested at Las Americas International Airport for attempting to travel with suspected 1.63 kilos of cocaine. The suspected drugs were identified by the DNCD and the Specialized Airport Security Corps (CESA). Baio Caldera was planning to board an Air Europa flight to Madrid.
