Apple said today, Tuesday, 17 April, that its third-generation iPad, released in the US and nine other countries on 16 March will go on sale in the DR starting 20 April. Sales were released concurrently for Brunei, Croatia, Cyprus, El Salvador, Guatemala, Malaysia, Panama, St. Maarten, Uruguay and Venezuela.
The lowest cost model sells for US$499 in the US. There are many Apple suppliers in the Dominican Republic, including the original Apple representative Compusistema.
