Take the second line of metro at Av. John F Kennedy and transfer to the first line at Maximo Gomez to visit the Santo Domingo International Book Fair. The book fair is the country's leading annual cultural event and this year is dedicated to Central America. The list of activities is long. Go early to get a program on site. The fair runs through 6 May. Twenty-eight countries and 425 exhibitors are taking part in the fair.
