The European Union mission is inviting music lovers to an evening of European music at their pavilion at the Santo Domingo Book Fair on Saturday, 27 April. The European Pavilion is located at the southeastern corner of the book fair, near the Maximo Gomez entrance. Named "From Vivaldi to the Beatles," starting at 7pm, musicians from the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra will play well known pieces from Chopin, Abba, George Michael, U2, Mozart and the Beatles.
This year the book fair has the additional attraction of free services on the Santo Domingo Metro 2 line. Passengers can take the metro at the Km. 9 (Luperon) and Winston Churchill stations and transfer to the Maximo Gomez line for arrival at the book fair.
