Benenson latest poll shows Medina leads

The Benenson Strategy Group has presented the results of its most recent poll showing Danilo Medina leading with 50% of the preference followed by Hipolito Mejia of the PRD with 44%. The poll has a margin of error of 2.96%. Of the minority candidates, Guillermo Moreno of Alianza Pais would get 3%, Eduardo Estrella of Dominicanos por el Cambio 1%, Max Puig of Partido Alianza por la Democracia and Julian Serulle of Frente Amplio are down with 0%. The poll says the perception among those polled is that the PLD is going to win the election. The survey took place 11-14 April nationwide, with 1,097 people polled.
