3)WATCH YOUR DRINK- I was drugged in Classico by a chica who was pissed at me all night giving me dirty looks(will include in my trip report)
4)if a chica doesn't keep her end of the bargain ..argue, but don't go over the limit-you will loose in the end and it isn't worth the 20 bucks.
5)check ID -alot of underage hoes
6)if you are going to go the motoconcho route at 3 am and coming down the stairs of classicos with a stupid fucked up confused look on your face then expect to be rushed by all of them-look directly at the moto guy you have chosen and get on the fuckin bike.
7)don't stop and chat with every single english speaker that says something to you.
8)make sure you carry different denominations on bills on you. getting change back from a chica is almost impossible
9)before you pre game and get all nice to go out on the town...make sure your room is chica proof.
10)carry a copy of your passport on you just in case
11)arrange exactly how many nuts you want to bust with the chic. don't play it by ear
12)have a bottle of alcohol in your room-if you don't speak english you might as well take shots before and in between rounds.
13)be confident in yourself when walking around ..

About watching your drink - yes, never let your drink out of your sight with a chica. I was drugged about 6 or 7 years ago in Domino bar. It was my first day got there had a couple beers at the palace and went out to eat with a few guys. they went back to the palace i went to the casino. gambled for a half hour and went to Dominos ordered a beer and went to the bathroom. I came out and drank the beer, done after that as far as memory except for brief flashes. 3 or 4 people told me they spoke to me that night and a guy told me he tried to get me to give him my money to hold. Woke up and my camara was gone and about 600 dollars. It's a fucked up feeling when you know you only drank 3 or 4 beers and the next thing you know you wake up in the morning with only a few flashes of memory. I layed really low for about a day and a half, it was bothering the shit out of me then i kinda said to myself "if your gonna just mope then go the fuck home" . Lesson learned and a good reason to have someone to hang out with and not be alone all the time, and if your alone pay attention. The day after that i found $350 in my suitcase, don't remember putting it there but it made me feel a bit better.

That exactly describes my experience in Haiti. To this day I can still recall little flashes out of a 3-6? hour evening during which to the best of my knowledge I only had maybe 4 beers. The odd thing was I remember knowing I was fucked up and confused since I was not drunk. Lucky for me I didn't have anything taken from me during this event.

I gotta add...I hung out with a local "friend" and a local "lady" that night and hung out with them for days after and can rule them out.....still wondering who drugged me and what was their motivation. I took my first trip to the DR in mid March. I spent most of my time in Sosua (6 nights) and three nights at Blackbeards. As a certified rookie, I can add these 3 mistakes to the DO NOT list: (cause I made 'em all)

1) Do not pay a moto driver to find you a chica (my first night in Sosua ha ha)
2) Do not buy every single Chica who sits down beside you a drink.
3) Don't necessarily believe the Chica at the disco when they SAY they have a cedula - make sure you ask to see the ID before you go back to the hotel...

All of these mistakes led to unpleasant consequences which I will detail in a separate newbie mini report.

Beer and rum are probably the cheapest shit you can buy in the DR. I keep that shit in the room. When out I drink club soda, removing the top only to take a swig. If I gotta buy booze I get bottle service when at the clubs. Here's the thing about the Chicas and dirty looks, if they know you're solid they won't fuck with you when you're moving in another direction. Ho's know I'll hook them up with a WU sucker in a heartbeat. I may not be the one paying but I'll help them to get paid. They'll thank me later.

If you're going to be mixing it up with Ho's it's important for them to understand that you're down with the game, not as a sucker but as an ally. I can go into any whorehouse in the Caribbean, leave a drink unattended and know it's okay because it's in the Ho's best interest to watch my back. Once you establish yourself as an asset you can put all your newbie advice in an envelope and mail them to someone who's never travelled. In this game you're either a player or a mark.

I go to DR to not just fuck bitches..but hang out with bitches... it gives me the opportunity to understand people that come from a different culture then i do. and it helps your chances of getting better service then when i just pick up someone off the street and grab her by the arm and throw her on my bed.. Good tips but here are some EXTRA suggestions.

1st off you can get drugged any and everywhere, even in your hometown. Rule #3 - Never leave your drink unattended. Ill toss a drink before I leave it and come back.

2nd I noticed that some guys walk with a mark on their forehead. Now Not everyone will or can even fake being as confident as me, but hold your head up high and remember you are an american. Be proud, if you look like a mark you will be a mark. It has nothing to do with looks either or size. I got an older friend who frequents, Black, ugly and scrawny.. You ever took 20mg Valium? Chop 2 or 3 up and mix it with a santo libre. That can knock someone out in minutes. Certain drugs can put you out on your feet. Ive heard of alot of things. Its scary, The drugs are the easy part. You make it easier when you leave your drink behind.

Question specific to Sosua: have my first trip planned for a couple of weeks from now. Been to DR before, but was at BB's. Have 40 trips to CR, 5 to Colombia, 2 to Phils under my belt, so not new to mongering. Decent Spanish skills.

Sosua seems like quite the small town. I'm staying at New Garden. If I'm pulling a chica out of one of the bars, are we walking back to NG, or taking a taxi? IIRC, there were lots of motoconchos in DR...is that the option in Sosua?

That is key. If I'm hosting the party and a Chica has a problem with any part of my agenda it's time for her to leave.

The mentality that allows a Ho to accept money for getting a dick rammed down her throat and all up inside her but won't allow her to smile for a photo just totally escapes me. I won't pay extra for pictures and if they won't pose nude I'll understand but acting like the camera will steal her soul is unacceptable and that is a red flag for me.

Most of the time when I don't get a picture it's my own fault for getting too wrapped up in the Pum-Pum to remember the camera. :o

I figured ill make some do's and dont's for newbes since i know for sure it will help..please copy and paste and add more so we can have a good list.

1)do not Pay upfront
2) if your chica ends up extending her stay with your permission of course MAKE SURE YOU PAY AS YOU GO!!!!<<<<
3)WATCH YOUR DRINK- I was drugged in Classico by a chica who was pissed at me all night giving me dirty looks(will include in my trip report)
4)if a chica doesn't keep her end of the bargain ..argue, but don't go over the limit-you will loose in the end and it isn't worth the 20 bucks.
5)check ID -alot of underage hoes
6)if you are going to go the motoconcho route at 3 am and coming down the stairs of classicos with a stupid fucked up confused look on your face then expect to be rushed by all of them-look directly at the moto guy you have chosen and get on the fuckin bike.
7)don't stop and chat with every single english speaker that says something to you.
8)make sure you carry different denominations on bills on you. getting change back from a chica is almost impossible
9)before you pre game and get all nice to go out on the town...make sure your room is chica proof.
10)carry a copy of your passport on you just in case
11)arrange exactly how many nuts you want to bust with the chic. don't play it by ear
12)have a bottle of alcohol in your room-if you don't speak english you might as well take shots before and in between rounds.
13)be confident in yourself when walking around ..
14)if you pick a girl and chill with her for a while, then change your mind..simply stop dancing with her and tell her you will see her later..she will get the point (for the most part)

I would never buy that the street its likely face/expired and why would you ??? Go to your Dr. a month before the trip tell him you wanna try C or V, they will likely give you a 15 or 30 pill sample on the spot for free. If not get a Rx its not embarrassing and your health plan will cover X pills per month. Many say 5mg of C a day is good for your system but I only take it when on mongering missions
