Gallup: 50.6% PLD, 44.6% PRD

50.6% answered Danilo Medina and 44.6% Hipolito Mejia to the Gallup pollsters question of who they would vote for if the election were held today, as reported on Friday, 27 April. According to the poll, 2% would vote for Guillermo Moreno of Alianza Pais, 1.4% for Eduardo Estrella for Dominicanos por el Cambio, and Max Puig of Alianza por la Democracia and Julian Serulle of Frente Amplio would receive less than 1% of the vote. The Hoy newspaper poll took place 14-18 April and has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.5%.
