Overseas students can validate coursework

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology and the National Center for Student Services in Virginia have signed an agreement that will allow any sort of academic document to be validated for students residing in the United States and in the Dominican Republic. Explaining the significance of the plan, NCSS representative Ricardo Torres and the Ministry's Rafael Gonzalez said that this is an electronic platform that facilitates the exchange of information, preventing fraud, overseas trips and bureaucracy, since arrangements that used to take three months can now be done in 15 minutes.
