France will be contributing EUR200,000 towards improving technology and training to combat drug trafficking and organized crime in the Dominican Republic, as reported in Hoy. Interior and Police Minister Ramon Fadul and the head of the National Drug Control Department (DNCD), General Rolando Rosado Mateo signed for the Dominican government and French ambassador Blandine Kreiss signed for France. The bilateral agreement will support the work of the National Police scientific division.
