Leading comedians are performing to full house crowds making fun of politicians two weeks before the presidential election. As reported in Listin Diario, the full house was no surprise as "politics has saturated the lives of Dominicans to the point that many are praying that 20 May comes soon."
"Papa, mama y la polistica" with Felipe Polanco, Boruga and Carlos Alfredo Fatule performed to full house crowds at the Maunaloa Night Club. The show is scheduled for a new performance at the Maunaloa on 16, 17, 18 May weekend.
Likewise, Cuquin Victoria and Carlos Sanchez will be at the Hotel Jaragua's Teatro la Fiesta on Friday, 11 May starting 9pm for another humorous take on politics.
A third show with political jokes will be presented by the "Jackson 5", with Kenny Grullon, Irving Alberti, Luis Jose German, Amaury Sanchez and Venezuelan Daniel Sarcos on Friday, 11 May and Saturday, 12 May at the Maunaloa.
