The National Police have announced the capture and indictment of an individual said to be responsible for the disappearance of a South Korean businessman who disappeared after leaving his house on 4 April. Hak Sum Kim, 47, never returned to his house in San Cristobal, and a former employee, Niwton Montas Pimentel, is being charged in connection with the disappearance of the free zone operator, according to Police sources. The Police say that the suspect was identified through technological means, since the defendant used the victim's cell phone the night of the disappearance and was tracked by satellite mapping as being near the victim's house on the night of the disappearance. Based on this evidence, according to El Nuevo Diario, the police will seek an indictment by the officials of the Justice Department.
