Compania Panamericana de Tabacos, C. por A., the Santiago-based company where workers were hospitalized last week following a leak from a propane tank, reports that measures were preventive and that no one is seriously ill. The company that employs around 400 at its Licey al Medio plant says that all is back to normal after the gas leak on Thursday, 10 May. The company says that no one was hospitalized, as had originally been reported. The company says that the problem occurred when a tank was being tested by the propane supplier, causing panic among the employees.
