View Full Version : Father, mother and son murdered in Santo Domingo East

A former Air Force officer and his wife and son were murdered in a suspected robbery in El Almirante, in Santo Domingo East in the early hours of Saturday, 12 May. Police chief Major General Jose Armando Polanco Gomez visited the scene of the crime where former Air Force captain Luis Alfonso Herasme Tejada, 48, his wife Kirssy Joscelin Tejada, 39, and her son Carlos Miguel Rodriguez, 18, were murdered.

According to reports, two assailants were waiting in the dark of the night for the father to return to rob him. His gun and his motorcycle were stolen. Police public relations chief Maximo Baez Aybar said that at least 15 people are under investigation. The Police said the victim arrived home at around 2:10am and was surprised by the murderers when entering the parking area. When his son opened the door and turned on the light, he and his mother were also shot.

Over the weekend, the Police arrested four men in connection with the murder. The main suspects are Modesto Esmerlin (Blondy) Gonzalez Quezada, accused of firing the shots, Stalyn Reynoso Rosario (Chino), who accompanied Gonzalez Quezada and was driving the motorcycle, also Esmil Diaz Perdomo, who rented the murder weapon to Gonzalez and Alfredo Sanchez, who hid the two guns, including one belonging to the murdered former officer.

The police say that the former captain was at the Trebol billiards hall, administered by Reynoso. The police suspect he was followed home for the robbery of the weapon they noticed he was carrying at the billiards. During questioning, as reported by the police, Blondy said he fired the shots after the former officer resisted the robbery.
