Asisa: Danilo Medina 53.3%, Hipolito Mejia 44.7%

Spanish polling company Asisa reports the findings of its 14-15 May poll with PLD ruling party candidate Danilo Medina winning 53.3% in a first round to 44.7% for former President Hipolito Mejia, who is running for the PRD. Guillermo Moreno of Alianza Pais would obtain 1.2% of the vote. This is the survey with the most potential voters polled, 6,993 and a sampling of 1,013 potential Dominican voters abroad.
