HM presidential campaign closing: today, Friday 19 May

Former President Hipolito Mejia and the PRD will close the final campaigning for the election today, Friday, 19 May. The PRD rally is scheduled to start at 2pm with Mejia and his vice presidential candidate Luis Abinader in the lead. The rally will start at Av. Nicolas de Ovando and Jose Ortega y Gasset in Cristo Rey and move south through San Juan de la Maguana, Maria Montez, Anibal Espinosa, Barney Morgan, Juana Saltitopa, Francisco Henriquez y Carvajal, Mella, Duarte, Padre Billini until reaching the sea-bordering Malecon. Separate rallies will take place in the Province of Santo Domingo, where the most votes are concentrated, by way of Francisco Alberto Caamano Deno Ave, Maximo Gomez and Luperon to all converge on the final closing on the Malecon.
