El Caribe today lists what Danilo promised on the campaign trail. He promised the famous 4% for education and full school days for students, including breakfast and lunch. He promised to take 1.5 million Dominicans out of poverty in four years, generate 400,000 new jobs, eliminate illiteracy, incorporate at least 1.4 million Dominicans into the Family Health Insurance, push the public health system to provide quality care and low costs for citizens and to eliminate all charges in the hospitals.
