Transition team to be announced in June

The transition team that will handle the change in the administration for the PLD, with Danilo Medina and his people now moving to the lead, will be appointed in June. However, according to Cesar Pina Toribio, this will only happen after the Central Electoral Board (JCE) officially proclaims Medina and Margarita Cedeno as the victors in Sunday's elections, probably during the first week in June. The transition team will be composed of people close to Medina as well as members of the Executive Branch, according to the Presidential Minister.
